		<description>yes, i ran into the same concept where a group of patterns doesnt necessarily compose a pattern language (ie.. GoF).  I figured this out when I started on the messaging patterns (from Enterprise Integration Patterns).  That book is a set of patterns who compose a pattern language.  When this concept first hit me, it was a little epiphany. ;-)
