Here’s a video from InfoQ of a JAOO 2007 panel with Martin Fowler, Frank Buschmann, Steve Cook, Jimmy Nilsson, and Dave Thomas discussing the future of software development. Sure it’s the tired and typical panel format but it does hit on more than a few interesting points.
Maybe you could watch it over lunch tomorrow with a tasty sandwich or something?
Anyway, the central theme is the question: who will develop software in 10 years?
